The venue’s stated address is 83 Stoke Poges Lane, Slough, SL1 3NY. This is the location of a pedestrian entrance at the front (marked E3 on the map below). However, car access and parking is reached from elsewhere as described later.

🚫Smoking is not permitted anywhere indoors or outside on the JMIC complex. 

The JMIC complex is split into two buildings (the Mosque and Welfare Centre), a front courtyard and a large car parking area.

Mosque
This is composed of the following parts

• Basement (below ground): Multi-use large hall
• Ground floor: Men’s prayer hall
• First floor: Women’s prayer hall
• First floor: Library

Visitors to the Mosque are required to take their shoes off and leave in a rack near the entrance as most floors inside are of carpet. Food and drink (except water) should not be taken inside and animals are not allowed. Visitors are requested to observe modest dress (eg including covering of torso and upper arms and legs). Female visitors may wish to cover their heads within this building to show respect to other users.

Welfare Centre
This has two floors:

• Ground floor: Community Hall
• First floor: Ilm Hub

The Welfare Centre has wooden floors and shoes can be worn inside. Visitors to this building are advised to walk from the street through entrances E1 or E2 to avoid the need to walk through the mosque from E3.

Courtyard
The gates (E3) on Stoke Poges Lane are only for pedestrian access and lead to an open rectangular piece of land in front of the mosque. During festivals or particularly busy times, a large marquee (tent) may be erected in part of this space. From the courtyard, the entrance D1 is used by men while D3 is for women.

Car Park
There is usually plenty of free parking in the large car park that can be found at the rear of the Mosque. There are two entrances from the street to the car park:

• E1: Elliman Avenue (preferable due to better road access)
• E2: Portsmouth Court (this road is narrow and not well maintained)
