The Royal College of Nursing is set to host a Nursing Leadership Summit, sponsored by Teva UK (a subsidiary of Israel’s Teva Pharmaceutical Industries).
Reporting from Declassified UK and other sources have pointed out Teva’s equipment donations to the Israeli military, mobilisation of staff into active service, a record €462.6m EU antitrust fine and a $500m+ US bribery settlement.
This open letter urges RCN leadership to cancel the summit, launch an independent investigation into how the sponsorship was approved, and adopt a binding ethical sponsorship policy.
