To simply put it you are using our money to finance a genocide. The killing and murder of women and children. What's happened and still happening in Gaza and Palestine is a holocaust. The weapons you are investing in are being dropped on homes ,schools, shelters ,hospitals and universities etc. Children and adults are being blown up, sliced and burned. A father was given his children back in a carrier bag like pieces of meat because of the newest and deadliest weapons being produced and there are so many different examples .This is blood money and a sign of a morally bankrupt people who will be judged as accomplices to the most live streamed suffering and genocide of a people.
It is morally & ethically abhorrent to know that Councils are facilitating, enabling & profiting from arms sales to Israel. To date Israel has killed over 46,700 people, over 18,000 and counting of whom are children, and despite a “ceasefire” Israel continues to kill & maim civilians on a daily basis. Profits from investment of staff pensions are covered in Palestinian blood. I plead with my councils committee to divest from the arms trade and urge your good offices to seek & find a better pathway to fund the LGPS.

I demand that the local authorities divest their pension schemes, from companies who are financially supporting an illegal, worldwide law breaking, immigrant zionist, ongoing genocide, cult movement, and who are complicit in arming the continuous daily genocide, against INNOCENT AND UNARMED MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN immediately.
It is immoral to support, including by financial investment, a state perpetrating an illegal military occupation, and also which has an active case at the International Court of Justice accused of genocide.
